Your safety is our main priority!

  • State of the art equipment is used on our tours to provide the utmost safety of our guests.
  • Equipment is checked on a daily basis to ensure maximum quality and performance.
  • Equipment use is monitored and recorded after each use to ensure its integrity.
  • Two guides (minimum) will accompany each group at all times.
  • All guides have received extensive training to ensure maximum safety at all times during the tour.
Trails are maintained on a regular basis and are created in a manner where they blend into their natural surroundings.

We encourage the importance of sustaining our natural surroundings by keeping a low profile and following the Leave No Trace principles.

Equipment:


All equipment used during our tour operations is the latest in climbing technology, with worldwide recognized brands such as Petzl, Omega Pacific, Singing Rock, PMI, Edelweiss, amongst others.

 
Harness:

Our harnesses are fully adjustable and have a breaking strength of 22.5 KN or 5000lbs. Designed by Singing Rock.
Rope:

Both Dinamic and Static ropes are used during all Rappelling activities for maximum safety. All ropes used are certified and have an impact force of 8KN or 2000lbs. These ropes are checked on a daly basis.

Rappell / Belay Device:

Rappelling devices used are the latest in climbing technology and have a tensile breaking strength of 20KN or 4,500lbs.

Tandem Speed Pulleys:

Designed by Petzl, all pulleys have a tensile braking strength of 24KN, or 5,400lbs, and are used in pairs on a double cable system for maximum safety.
Carabiners:

All carabiners have a minimum breaking strenght of 22kn or 4,950 lbs. Carabiners used from multiple brands all certified by the CE / UIAA.
At'trac Lanyards:

Safety lanyards are designed by Petzl and used as a connection point between the pulley and the participant. Tensile breaking strenght of 22KN or 4,950lbs.
Helmets:

Helmets are designed by Petzl to protect the participants at all times.
