One of the most recently developed areas in Puerto Rico, Relincho has turned out to be a great climbing destination with very good quality rock and some great routes. Located in Juana Diaz, in the south part of the island, this area offers sport routes for all grades up to 5.12. Most routes are set up inside a cavern-like amphitheatre, making this area very interesting and fresh. A great crag for rainy or hot days. |
Routes: all sport routes; well protected; chains on most anchors; pockets, sidepulls, underclings, tufas and crimps are the norm; sharp rock, very solid and polished; 5.6 to 5.11c

Directions: From San Juan, take route 52 south towards Ponce, exit towards Juana Diaz, pay toll, go straight and turn left on stop light. Turn right after Coliseum on road #14, left on road#551 and go straight until reaching a basketball court on your left, after this straight until reaching fountain where locals wash their cars, park before this next to wooden house with black fence, look for trail on the right side of the house, go up 3 minutes until reaching cave entrance. Climb!
