Basic Climbing Course

Our basic climbing course is designed to teach the complex discipline of rock climbing in a safe and efficient way. The course has a total duration of approximately 10 hours and is divided into two sections, the first being theoretical and the second practical. The first part is an introduction to the sport where you will learn about equipment and techniques that will be put to practice during the second part of the course. You will learn to tie knots for climbing and how to safely set up ropes. We will teach you climbing techniques to help you move and progress on the rock in a safe and efficient manner.

All activity is supervised to ensure your safety and the safety of those around you. On successful completion of this course you will be awarded a certificate of proficiency to show that you can efficiently set your own equipment well enough to climb. It is important to note that the course is designed for the personal enjoyment of the sport and does not qualify the participant to teach these techniques in a professional way.
