Bayamón 1
Also known as Bayamon Viejo, this is one of the first climbing areas developed in Puerto Rico. Here you will find about 34 climbing routes with grades ranging from 5.6 to 5.13a.  All routes are sport routes and are no longer than 50 feet, so a 50 meter rope will do. This area was abandoned after Bayamon 2 started being developed. The access is a little deteriorated due to lack of use and the parking area is not the safest, but the routes are well equipped and very fun to climb on.
Equipment necessary: 60m rope / 12 quick draws Rock type: limestone

Routes: all sport routes; well protected; chains on most anchors; pockets, sidepulls, underclings, and pinches are the norm; short routes with a crux section in the middle are the most common; three climbing areas, best area is at the top
