GO HIKING & WATERFALL CLIMBING NEAR THE CARITE RAINFOREST IN OUR HALF DAY - CANOPY ZIPLINE ADVENTURE TOUR IN CAGUAS, PUERTO RICO
The Best ZipLine, Rock Climbing & Rainforest Hiking Adventure Tour In Puerto Rico located near Carite State Rainforest.
This amazing adventure takes us to a rainforest, located 45 minutes south of San Juan near the city of Caguas. Caguas was host to some of the island’s most important sugarcane plantations providing employment to thousands of Puerto Ricans. Fields and plantations are still visible as we approach our destination atop a beautiful mountain range 2,000ft above sea level. The name “Caguas”, was derived from the famous Taino Indian chief “Caguax”, who taught the Spaniards all about tobacco plantations as well as other local fruits and harvests.
Once populated by the Taino Indians before the discovery of Puerto Rico, this land is abundant in natural beauty and resources. Located in the vicinity of the Carite Rainforest, El Salto is home to 49 species of birds, 15 species of amphibians (the Coqui being one of the main species), 12 species of reptiles, 7 species of mammals, and over 200 species of trees.
Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the full day tour in our half-day adventure tour, which takes place in the exact same location as the El Salto Waterfall Adventure.
Go hiking upriver, rock climb waterfalls, relax and take a dip in some amazing crystal clear river pools and waterfalls and enjoy the splendor of the 80-foot El Salto waterfall. After this you'll get to zipline on 3 different ziplines as you enjoy a bird’s eye view of the forest and river.
After a half-day of adventure, you get to sit down and enjoy a delicious Puerto Rican home cooked meal served by a local family in a beautiful mountain setting.
Our experienced guides will ensure your safety at all times, after all safety is our main priority. So come, join us, and experience Puerto Rico in a whole different way!
